A Professional Dancer, Choreographer from “Ananda Shankar Centre For Performing Arts”, a recognized dance institute in Kolkata, India. Graduated in the Shankar technique of New Dance (an Indian Contemporary technique), a style started by the legendary dancer Uday Shankar in the 1920s, later popularized by many innovators including Tanusree Shankar, one of the founder members of the institute.

A Scholarship Awardee, has a  global  exposure  in  a  way  by  participating  and conducting in  several national and international cultural mega-events under the flagship of Tanusree Shankar Dance Company. Though she started of with Kathak at a very early age of six, she continued to hold diplomas in the same along with Bharatnatyam, Manipuri, Rabindra Nritya and Indian Folk Dance, from Sangeet Kala Kendra, Kolkata, India.

She also holds a First Class Post Graduate degree in Geography from the Kolkata university. A diploma holder in  Computer Web Centric Curriculum from NIIT, Kolkata. Also associated with event management and Public relation, anchoring shows, voice overs in CDs, attached to Akashvani Radio, Kolkata. Though she has donned many hats, her first love however is DANCE.
